Yes make your own choice. I Have an X1 with standard seats and to me they are fine. Non adjustable seatbelt hangers are a pain though. I had an X drive with sports seats for a week when my car was in for DPF/egr problems and I would say that they are no more comfortable but have better lateral support. adjustable thigh supports which I am not too keen on. BMW seats are and always have been on the firm side by design
