Update
I’ve been really fortunate in that 2 VW dealerships close to where we live have agreed to honour the lower £97.00 price. They have acknowledged it was a VW mistake but willing to honour it despite not being obliged to. Friendly car salesmen/woman do still exist, thankfully.
Hopefully they’ll also throw in some upgrades with a little discount also.
