It is £600 but I don’t believe you automatically receive it.
When we took my wife’s car back last year, the dealer commented that he’d never seen one come back so good. (I really struggle and it takes such a long time causes a lot of pain but I pride myself on our cars. I was quite proud). He said that he’d seen some horrendous cars come back. Filthy, damaged, like a tip inside, etc. Sadly some people have the attitude of “Well it’s not mine, I done care” which I think is truly disgusting.
I would suggest a good clean and hoover before taking back, even if it means spending £15 on one of the roadside car washes. It could be money well invested. They don’t expect a brand new car back but it should look like it’s had some pride and care invested.
At a recent service, the mechanic actually came into the showroom and said to the salesman dealing with me that he couldn’t believe how the brakes looked. He said they looked brand new and as the car in general looked so good, he asked if he wanted them to bother washing it. I declined. ?
I appreciate it’s not for everyone but this is how I treat cars and really appreciate it when it’s commented on.
