We have discussed before that Motability need to make changes to be able to stay current and with them wanting to attract the 1 million eligible none users they have to do something, I said awhile back if any policy changes are to come into affect then it’s likely to be January 2020. With current rules Mercedes cannot even put the GLB forward, with the base model being 4000 over current criteria. Hopefully the goal posts will be moved along with some much needed policy changes for motability to continue to be a viable option. Mercedes has recently made more models available to Motability and hopefully that has worked out for them and they continue to see a benefit to having as many models as possible available.
