They are great very practical cars easy to get in and out of, front and back.
The seats are up there with the most comfortable SUV’s  Diesels all have add blue

When I ordered ours the seats were electric but the memory function was only on leather and an expensive option. That may have changed now our car is 10 months old.

I have the 2tdi dsg in 4wd we so a mixture of long and short journeys with no problems at all, the 1.5 had reported stalling/ kangarooing on quite a few cars. Although I believe there is a software update for then, no idea if it solves the issue.

The 1.5 I had as a loan car stalled from cold every day and felt underpowered for the size of car, it would definitely struggle fully loaded on an uphill motorway or  A/B road.

The engine went into 2 cylinder mode quite a bit and fuel consumption was mid to high thirties as apposed to high forties low fifty mpg of the diesels.

As for engines I’d chose the diesel if you use the car loaded a lot or do a lot of motorway use.

If you go for the 1.5 read up on the owners reviews online regarding the stalling etc and make sure you have an extended test drive to check it’s no longer an issue from cold.

The Dsg box is great and shortens acceleration tines without much effect on fuel.
