Just a word on the latest allegation against Boris Johnson.
He has only himself to blame for the soft target that he’s become for the media.
During the time he was married to his second wife, he cheated on her with a number of different women. He was sacked from the government front bench in 2004 for lying about one of those affairs. At the same time he was allegedly having an overlapping affair with another woman as well as going home to his wife. He fathered a child with another lover in 2009 and in 2013 the Appeals court heard that he had fathered another (unnamed) child with yet another lover. This was the same year as he allegedly started an affair with Jennifer Arcuri (according to four friends of hers who spoke to the Sunday Times). His latest relationship with Carrie Symonds was in full flow in February 2018 (according to friends that she confided in) even though Boris was still at home with his wife. They separated in September 2018 when His wife Marina had finally had enough of his infidelity.
Remember, these are just the affairs that there is documented evidence for, so no way can anyone say that Boris Johnson is being unfairly treated.
I think “chickens coming home to roost” is a fair analogy here.
