Resign , Resign – just another Exercise in trying to ‘steal’ Brexit from the masses, and those who complain that BoJo lied to the Queen, Parliament and the Country need to look again, but this time at the facts!
Fact 1.
He did not lie to the Queen, his reasons for proroguing Parliament ( which is and always has been a political decision, and nothing , but nothing to do with the Courts ) were based on the legal advice given to him by the Attorney General , which he ( the AG ) defended quite vigorously in the Commons yesterday.
Fact 2
The accusation that the PM broke the law in Proroguing Parliament – but this so called Law it appears was only introduced during the hearing, as there was no actual Law to break before the Court Hearing!
So, if this is indeed the case, no ‘supposed’ Law was broken at the time
.
Imagine if you will, parking your Motability Car perfectly legally overnight, only to find in the morning that double yellow lines had been painted overnight, and your car is now parked illegally?
This, is the situation the PM faced – so could not break a law which did not exist !
Fact 3
The inflammatory language and bile yesterday, came , very clearly, from the Labour benches , and (perhaps wrongly ) were reciprocated, and this morning if anyone has been watching the TV coverage, it was clear that one of the main instigators was a Labour MP from Birmingham.
BoJo was under attack in a way that led to his exasperation and fury. Anyone would have reacted similarly. He was not attacking Jo Cox’s death he was attacking all that lead up to this moment.
He is being misrepresented by the anti Boris media!
From June the 24th 2016 all I heard from remain MPs, many from leave voting constituencies, was we are not going to be taken out of the EU, we will not be led over a cliff.
Chuka Ummuna stood outside Parliament and said he would do everything he could to stop Brexit.
We have a Lib Undem party refusing to accept the vote and have stated that even if there was another referendum and leave won, they would still do their best not to implement
I don’t like Boris that much, but he is the only one who is standing up for leave voters in Parliament, so I welcome his determination!
His style may be different, but it may be the only way to get these remain MP’s out of their comfort zone.
He is being accused of using words such as ‘betrayal’ and ‘surrender bill’, but that is exactly the truth.
I do feel betrayed by the remain MPs and it is a surrender bill. As soon as that bill was passed, the EU sat back with a big sigh of relief,
If you don’t like him , tell your MP to vote for a General Election, ?
There are 2 sides to every story.
