We chose diesel as moved to a very hilly area and had diesel for years, unfortunately 4×4 wasn’t available in the spec we required, another reason was not knowing if it was a last chance to get a diesel on the scheme so chose accordingly with a view to purchase or extend should we wish to at end of term. Theirs a few on here that require or rather prefer it because they Tow, still lots of pro’s for diesels and life in the old dogs yet.
If 4×4 was my primary want unless there was other factors I don’t think I would have an issue compromising and returning to Petrol.
