Haha BigB I am a glass half full type of person and ever optimistic. I think range anxiety, for most people, is over played. An Ev that does 150 -200 miles on a charge would do most people especially if charging at home or on a local on street charger. We rarely do more than 30 miles a day, occasionally 90 miles, on a sunny day and 160 once every couple of years. If we are truthful I suspect an ev that has a range of 160 would be suitable for most of us.
The jaguar I Pace has an app and it logs distances driven and number of charges. They found most people charged twice a week.
I put diesel in my car once a week. By the time I drive to the petrol station, put fuel in and drive back takes about half an hour.
When chargers are available at my local Tesco/Asda I could charge for the half an hour I’m in there shopping
Remember batteries charge quicker to start with and then slow down once approaching 80% full.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.
