Back in 1981 my used Corrina cost £500 and my insurance was £500 third party f&t. Last year my 18 year old daughter bought a Fiesta for £1200 her insurance was £850 fully comp with data box fitted. That’s only an increase of £350 in almost 40 years. The policy is in her name, with my wife as a named driver, it’s with Tesco, so not some dodgy company. Cheap insurance can be found you just have to search a lot.
