Viewed some more cars.  More accurately, I headed out to get updates on when I may be able to see some new releases, especially the all new Leaf and the updated Atto 3 Evo.

I started trying to get some news on the Leaf which was unclear.  I may be able to see it May/June.

Then off to BYD and have a much more productive chat around the Atto 3.  That one should be mid April.  I had a sit in the current version and, surprisingly, fit quite nicely.  I saw a few things I wasn’t overly happy with but I suspect they change in the update, so it’s a more positive wait and see.

While I was there I had a chat with a Smart salesperson.  No clues as to whether the #5 would be joining but I surprised myself by fitting in the #1, which has much more space than I thought.  I’d not be happy driving it but I honestly didn’t think I’d be able to get in at all.  looking at the build quality of the 1, the 5 should be awesome.

So, in all a bit of a positive day but nothing massive, just yet.  The Atto is definitely a possibility, if it does come on Scheme the Smart 5 would be well worth a look depending upon AP and the Leaf is still a wait and see.

There’s a huge waiting list for people wanting to get in the demonstrator when it finally arrives, so I’ll not be high up the list yet.
