And 2 cents from me:
1. Do NOT take loan against your credit card, as I understood your intention above – it will cost you over 20% per annum, unless they offer a promotion or the dealership is happy to accept the credit card and charge you 2.5% extra fees.
2. Motability Charity – I think they chances of snow on sun are better: the fact you have 7 people in your family is irrelevant for them. They are looking to address disabled person’s needs, not the family.
3. I do over 25,000 miles a year: they cannot prohibit you from driving above their annual limit of 20,000, but yes you will pay the extra. Which are peanuts in comparison to other options.
4. We had PHEV for 10 months on Motability. Useless if you drive over 45 miles a day, too many moving parts to be broken, drives like a turtle unless both motor and engine are working. Eventually returned to Motability on mechanical grounds and didn’t even pay £250 exit fees.
