One word of caution learned from experience, ensure the connection points and the charging box are off the floor. Back when I had my first EV, I charged it through a capable extension lead but the plug & socket were just lying on a stone holding them about half an inch above the floor and the charger’s box was lying on the floor. One very heavy overnight downpour later and they were both swimming under 4 inches of built up water. The socket was ok once thoroughly dried out, the charger’s box fried several components and never worked again. That was a supposed sealed unit designed for outdoor use.
