I would go back to them andmake a point of saying you were offered a grant based on low income and the mileage to take your children to school “especially your disabled daughter, you couldn’t afford to run a 50008 hybrid with a real world 40mpg would cost nearly 3 times more than the AP on the E5008. Tell them that you understand appreciate there offer, but could we put the difference towards the E5008, as over the term of the lease it would save you over £3k, If they say no, politely ask to speak to a supervisor.
