We did look at the Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Rifter, but their range is too short for what we need. Our Motability case worker actually mentioned the e5008’s longer range without me even asking, but explained that they couldn’t offer a grant for that model. We could get the 5008 Hybrid with the standard grant if the reason was simply wanting a nicer car as practically the same car, but unfortunately that’s not an option for us as it would be too expensive to run.
