    Is this mandatory? I really don’t see the point in our case. I’m 31 and my wife turns 30 this summer. We’ve got just an email saying they’ve signed us up and they’ve shipped the device. Personally I’m not doing it because I don’t agree with it and I didn’t sign up for it. If motability don’t see the sense that my wife is 30 soon then they can happily have the car back returning my full £4500 AP as again, I didn’t sign up for it

    I agree, it does seem a bit pointless in your situation and a waste of funds.

    However, Whils’t the app works on most smartphones, it does not work on all Android models, especiall newer Chinese phones like Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei, Honor, and others that don’t fully support Google Play services will not be compatible. 😉 cough
