This may or may not apply in this case
I have never had any issues such as this
Personally if I ever did
I would also bring the hire car into the discussions if it wasnt like for like and spec as the one that is in for repair
Reading past post on here a specific car and spec was chosen for a reason
Those reasons may be many
Point is
Having to drive something over a long period of time that does not have such features could be detremental to ones long/short term health
And possibly put them off from even wanting to drive an unsuitable hire car
My point may not be an issue in this particular case but it carries weight and its one that can reasonably be used in dispute if/when needed
Maybe others could keep this in mind
