1. Overseas- yes, you simply need to call and ask for a V5 type of a document (cannot remember which one). We do go abroad number of times a year, but with new cars on the scheme I don’t know how much of a breakdown there’s is to significantly increase the insurance costs.
2. I do drive 25K per annum because it’s just over 90 miles round trip to get to the office. I also pay taxes from my salary, so the likes of me contribute more to the treasury, as we can work further away, earning better salary and paying more taxes.
3. I think CEO takes home circa £924,000 pa plus £21,000 pa as car allowance. I think this is extremely unjustified as there is no need in marketing etc.
4. With more Chinese cars coming in it may make sense to move away from MB.
5. Tesla, offering PCP with 0% APR for 60 months is another option.
So it will be interesting to see where MB is heading towards.
