I’m glad they’re changing to Switch as it currently stands.
I’ve had three cars from Europcar, one of which developed a fault with the heated back window and a rattle coming from the engine.
They’ve never actually been able to deliver the hire car, so I’ve had to trudge across the Southwest to fetch it. The closest Europcar to me was Plymouth or Exeter, both of which is about an hour and a quarter away. The nearest Switch will be Taunton at 30 mins. Switch piggyback off of the Thrifty network which are pretty frequent.
Only problem is that I need to book a hire car from someone for three days whilst my Kamiq is having the clutch inspected on the 27th of this month because Mon Motors can’t get me into a courtesy car before the middle of March. I’m suppose to be picking my car back up on the 3rd of March and I don’t fancy changing a rental car on a weekend as they’re usually all closed.
