I couldn’t agree with @kezo more. If you like the KIAs you really will do yourself a disservice if you don’t look at the Hyundai equivalents. The downside is that there’s no EV4 equivalent. I’m not the one to discuss the ICE offerings, I found a Qashqai horrid just because it was noisy, smelly and vibrated a vast amount over what I’m used to. That said, they’re usually well equipped for the money.
The Qashqai like the Renault Austral have old style torsion beam rear suspension and not multilink, which is the norm in that segment.
Hyundai might be a bit too quirky in design compared to Kia and whils’t they don’t yet offer as much as Kia in the price bracket, its still worth a look.
