The K4 is nice, but 48v mild hybrid on the scheme, which doesn’t really imprve fuel economy but costs more than a standard petrol, which I would choose over, but like alot of cars on the scheme, there’s very limited choice of what I like or would have.
Kia/Hyundai are ahead of europe with ev technology and were first to bring 800v architecture to europe and offer it to the mainstream market. Likewise they offer V2L on their ev’s, something europe doesn’t really offer mainstream, meaning you can go out and make yourself a brew, power the lawnmower from etc and their standard level of kit is more generous. Perhaps more importantly they have USB ports you can use as a data port and on a personal note, I love the twin screens and the fact they knobs button switches for the important stuff.
If you have time over the weekend, it might be worth popping over to Hyundai, as they are majority shareholder in Kia and are the same cars but with different overcoats and can ve a bit more quirky in design. (Kona electric/hybrid)
I have the Hyundai Tucson plug in hybrid.
The EV5 starts at £2593 WPMS for the Air😂 nice car though and follows design language of EV3 and EV9.
I like maroon coulour or Wolf grey on the EV4 lol.
