As said in wmc’s daily updates, Motability only seem to be getting the bottom rung of Chinese manufacturers cars when it comes to BEV’s. Most have <70kWh on C segment cars, which isn’t going to cut it in the real world – something, I don’t think mitch quite grasps when looking at WLTP. We know China has capable cars, but were just not getting them on the scheme and there’s not one BEV on the scheme that jumps out, apart than say the EV5 but not at that price! The interior dash/displays of the Enyak/id’s don’t sit right with me lol.

Theres quite a lot of smallish SUVs with smaller batteries delivering between 140-170 in winter, according to EV-database and not the ever-hopeful WLTP nonsense.

However, if you have a car that can do those distances but charges uber-quick then you’re actually going from ‘thank god we got here’ to 85% in the time it takes for a quick wee and pick up a coffee.  However, those cars won’t be on scheme for quite some time as they’re still in Asia.
