It’s also on my Xmas list!, however, I’m concerned about the range as well!. My Enyaq is supposed to be 329 miles, in summer I get around 270-280, at the moment it’s saying 220 at 100% charge but in the real world about 180-190 🙁
95% of my journeys are under 5-10miles round trip, a 20 mile trip once or maybe twice a week taking my Autistic adult son shopping and the odd 120 a few times a year. The Toyota would probably do but range anxiety isn’t a nice thing!.
I did my longest ever run with it up to Glasgow with my daughter last year and was very surprised how poor it was sitting at 65/70 going up the A/M74 in wet, cold and windy weather. It was better coming back down but was still a surprise. I’d been down to Whitby in the warmer months (mainly A roads) and difference in efficiency was massive.
Of course if it’s still £0 AP then none of that matters as the difference in the AP (Enyaq £749 to £5995 at the moment) would more than pay for any extra charging anyway!. My total charging for 2025 was under £120 for around 6000 miles 🙂
