I think I have mentioned in the past we sold Vauxhall Vectra 2L 2001 after 270K (from new) and Isuzu Trooper (short / petrol) after 280K (second hand – bought with 140K I think in 2000 or so).
Somewhere around 170K the Vectra’s ABS gone. The official garage wanted over £1,000 I think. Instead I bought on eBay which only evolved then a used one for £56 and found a guy to install it for me. Since he served both Vectra and Trooper for us – pair of hands made of gold. Poor soul, passed away from cancer.
