If you tested drove it on a bad hair day and its a winner, then why not order it, if they are prepared to do that, at least it would be ready for change over day, along with being cheaper for you to run charging from home. Personally I would take Kia over Citreon or anything Stellantis.
I would get back on to the housing authority and say you wish to go ahead with an an outside socket at back of house (it will come in handy regardless). Toughleads do the extension socket upto 15m and is only £10 (£37) more than the 2m lead you looked at, which would save you drilling to make the aeial lead hole bigger and everything would be powered from outside with alot less faff. You could also fit a box over it, with your joinery skills!
