I have exemption on my private car. I told the dealership at time of purchasing but I was a bit worried at 12 months in that I hadn’t had a renewal. I called motability who said the car has been registered with disabled tax- technically not legal I think. They made the change though and this year ive had the renewal through for the motability car which ive paid. So you shouldn’t have any issues.
