Normally, no. In extreme cold the battery will be used to keep itself warm and some cars have timers set for the morning commute, which preconditions both battery and car. In either case the battery will drain. Normally, though, there’s no worry about losing anything worthy of note.
Once you’re all setup, it might be worth keeping it plugged in one night a week, set max charge to 80% and you can be confident that you’ll not be in need of an emergency charge just because you forgot to plug in after the last trip.
