Apparently Mr Timms is going to make some changes to eligibility to the Mobility scheme next year, they have not finished with us yet. If the mobility scheme was so bad why did the conservatives not address the issue when in power.
Given the majority of the public outcry outside of ‘free cars’ is getting cars for ADHD, so I’d guess rules to ensure higher rate mobility requires physical limitations to a certain point level. So, of the two current mobility descriptors, emphasis would be given to moving around over planning and following a journey. I’d put my money on anyone able to walk over 50 metres would be ineligible.
