Will it ever end? Helen Whateley, Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary (Conservative) has just said on Sky News that she’s been ‘doing some work on Motability”, which “gives ‘free’ cars to people with conditions like tennis elbow, acne and ADHD”. It was cited as one of the major reforms that the Tories would make to address the benefit culture. So we now have Labour, the Conservatives and Reform UK all talking utter nonsense about Motability. Have the Lib Dem’s said anything about it? I’ve voted in every General Election over the last 40+ years, but I’m now struggling to find a home for my vote!
