Have you looked at the Hyundai i20 N-line S ? Great looking small car. Comes with heated front seats and a lot more kit. It’s £999 AP and can be driven by under-25’s.

That was my first scheme car, a black one, I had it between April and October. It had 7 visits to Howards Taunton within that time. It was scuffed when I picked it up which they took 5 months to finally resolve. The handbrake cable stretched, trim fell off, the gearbox was dodgy and then the central locking system failed and defaulted to the fully locked position with me still in the car after I’d driven to College. I had to use the BlueLink app to escape because the car failed to recognise the key and all the doors wouldn’t open from the inside or outside. Howards “Couldn’t find anything wrong” so I rejected it at my expense because they wouldn’t agree. That’s how I ended up with the Clio. Other than that it was a lovely car, but the experience with the last one and the fact that it’ll never return to Howards or Vertu again means I wouldn’t have another one. I’d have to Trowbridge or Poole from Taunton to have it serviced because I wouldn’t dare have it serviced by Vertu Exeter and Bristol or Howards. Same problem with the Kona.
