Thanks for the reply’s @ajn 👌🏻 Think that’s part of the issue I’m not very clued up when it comes to cars meself to be honest. The trouble with the Hybrid cars is I’m not able to charge the car at the house as it’s restricted so the car has to be parked a fair distance away from the house so charging it wouldn’t be possible. Thanks for your thoughts and recommendation mate really appreciate it

The Hybrid+ is self charging hybrid, so you fill it up as you do a petrol car and drive it as you would a petrol car however theres an electric motor that is attached, which helps to drive on battery only for short distances, whils’t helping with acceleration and by braking or slowing down, you recharge the battery. Full hybrids also return better mpg than petrol only or mild hybrid counterparts and return decent fuel economy, with the HS Hybrid+ 221bhp 50 mpg. It’s also a bigger car if cabin space is important to mum. FWIW, the couple I have travelled in, it’s more comfy and prefered over the Tucson I have now, which is also a decent size car, but shit on fuel like the Volvo if you don’t opt for at least the full hybrid.

Whatever you choose, I expect the modern infotainment screens will get some getting use to, but its easy, after a couple days once you know how.
