Hyundai vehicles are equipped with features that automatically unlock the doors in the event of an impact, such as deploying airbags. This feature is designed to enhance safety by allowing passengers to exit the vehicle quickly in the event of a crash.

So do Teslas. This system does not work in case of a total power failure, which is the issue in the first place. If you don’t have a total power failure, Teslas electric doors still operate too.

My misunderstanding – in this case then, the only way out is via the boot/tailgate by using it’s emergency release feature🤔 Lets hope the ICCU don’t fail or worse!

You’d think cars would come with a front and rear emergency release lever!
