The 2025 TCL C7K mini LED is availble for under £600 for the 50 inch and “may” go down a touch more towards the end of the year, but current prices area bargain as it launched at £800 earlier this year. Richer Sounds have it at £599 with a 6year guarantee, the cheapest is £549 from the Electric shop, Sonic direct (similar to Currys) and Appliances Diret with 2yr guarantee, so if you favour a long guarantee £50 is a bargain, but RS will match these prices!

Spec wise, it’s a premium QD-Mini LED 144Hz 4K HDR 3000 nits Onkyo 4.2.2 Smart Google TV and has TCL’s crystal glow HVA panel and over 1000 precise dimming zones, with over 1400 in total for the 50″, Dolby Vision and HDR10…

It goes head to head with the Samsung QN90F and gives a much better picture quality for less than half the price. Ontop of, it will blow the LG UA75 out of the water. Given you watch TV infront of the window/patio, it’s brightness will overcome glare. Also see how the picture isn’t much apart from OLED.

First video shows the 2 out of the box ie not setup and how the TCL scored more picture quality image results rhan the Samsung at more than double the price.

The second video shows it’s settings tweaked more and the clarity of the faces, image quality and the level of clarity detail he shows 1080p (HD).

Also What HiFi gave it 5 stars.

You wouldn’t go wrong with this as an upgrade to the next technology. Also if you remember, I bought the TCL C805 beggining last year for similar money and I’m overwhelmed at the quality and would say it’s watched more than the LG OLED, especially during the longer daylight sunny days and where I couldn’t see my old brick built conservatory TV, I can this easily. Sound is subjective, but it’d not something TV’s excell at anyway and you got your boombox now, if you wanted!
