Alot depends on the MY, whether you can adust the speed limit warning to +5mph. Newer models with ccNC lost that feature, which in part is due to EU law even though we havent fully excepted it, hence the reason we can turn speed limit off!

Can’t say mine bongs when diverting from the route, but may be mistaken. Overall once Ive turned speed limit off, the car drives in more or less silence, apart from taking and fetching daughter and her bum encroaches on the outer seat, you get a loud bing bong seatbelt warning for rest of journey, as she likes to sit in the middle or else!
