Sorry I dont know, but good point, as i am down looking at the stalk! It will take some time, for some reason, still apprehensive in driving, due the size and silence, yet I spent years driving transit type vans and trucks, even buses! It doesn’t at the moment, feel like the bmw, where it somehow, becomes precise, connected and part of you. When to Lidls at the weekend and felt I was the chauffeur. We just nipped out in the alfa, and the engine burble was there. Just gotta get in it and drive, and stop the reaching for the phantom gear change.

The stalk is pretty easy, just turn it foward untill it hits the stop point and away you go. Same with reverse, all the way back till it hits the stop position and away you go backwards😂

Just twisting and not hitting the stop position will be neutral and the button on the end of the stalk, puts the car into park, although it automatically goes into park when you turn off the ignition.

You’ll get use to it mate.

You can also record your Alpha burbling away and play it through the Ioniqs speakers – better than any Whoooooo sound the car makes, though do turn off those silly warp drive noises😂
