    I’ve never had a timeslot service…ever. It is usually drop the car off at 9.00 pick up the courtesy car and get the car back at 5.00pm. Even when I had a private car, used to drop it off first thing to get repaired/ serviced/ MOT’d.. No timeslots nowaday.

    I think Renault dealers/workshops differ. They work on time slots.

    When I took my Clio in for its first service back in June, the woman booking-in cars said they allow 2-hours to service a car. Because mine required a software update however, she apologised and said that 2-hour time slot will probably run to 2-hours 30-minutes and she was sorry! I’d already agreed to sit and wait (with numerous cups of free coffee thrown in & big flat-screen TV to watch) and it wasn’t a big deal.
