Our current car was available for pick up mid-August. The dealer said that they were relaxed whether we took delivery immediately or waited until 1st Sep to get the new reg. As the main reason for changing the car was because my wife needed a new adaptation, we opted for picking the car up immediately.
As for the OP, I was always under the impression that Motability would never leave you immobile?
