It varies, usually there’s a bit of small talk etc.
If you steam it down and the salesrep plays ball, you can cut it down to maybe 20-30 minutes. What you should do is to call your salesperson, and explain to him that you can’t do long appointments.
In terms of completing the paperwork: only the mother can (well or your partner). You’re just decoration until you drive, you can’t do anything.
The only other option is to call MB and add another driver who can take the mother to the dealership and drive the car home, like the mother. Might push back the pickup date a little bit, but i think that’s about it.
