    My understanding is that not only temperature but speed of charging can also effect how much can be put into a battery – so example people who charge using solar often end up with more in the battery – I believe charging more slowly also helps with the longevity. I swop my Kona for an Elroq 85 next week – so frankly it isn’t really an issue for me. I don’t do a high mileage and my longest journey is about 250mls – once or twice a year. The real break through will be when batteries are lighter for the same range.

    Yes! But also chemistry has a part to play.
