Thank you- DumfriesDik- what is a VAG car please? I’ve heard the Ohme doesn’t get supported by Ovo. TVS- good to know OIGo works with your Ohme epod- does your car appear on the Octopus list? The EV3 doesn’t. Thanks

VAG means Volkswagen Group, so basically anything VW, Skoda, Seat, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini and Bugatti, as well as Scania, Ducati and MAN.

Octopus Intelligent Go is by far the best EV tariff you can order – i’d give Octopus a ring and ask questions, their customer support tends to be capable.

Part of the reason is the comparatively reasonable rates for charging (for us, 7p at night, 28p day) – another is their App (called Octopus Electroverse) which comes with an RFID card that you can use on the vast majority of UK chargers (over a million chargepoints by now, if i remember that right). If you’re on the Intelligent Go tariff, you also get 8% off on any of those chargers (including Ionity and Gridserve, the two big ones next to Tesla which might join in the future too). And, conveniently, you can pay through your electric bill.

Sounds like i’m a salesman, i’m not – we’re just really happy with them.

edit: reason for call, Octopus IntGo does support the EV6, so the call would be to ask whether or not it already is supported, and if not, when it will (inevitably) be. It’s a brand new car in the UK, so might take a few to get the app and backend updated. I’d ring and ask.

edit2 odd. The EV4 is supported, the EV3 isn’t in the list. Ohme chargers are supported though. As i said.. I’d definitely give them a ring and sort it out – if everything is compatible, that’s the best and most comprehensive tariff to go for.
