See it is all to do with residual values, surely MB do not still expect customers to believe in that one.
I feel genuinely sorry for MB customers nowadays who see a car that fits their needs and who do their home work on the car, only to find it removed from the list when they go to order it, finding the car was only available for a few weeks or days even.
I ordered my new model Skoda Superb 2.0 diesel sel estate almost as it went on the list. Only a few weeks later it was gone with only the plug in version with the smaller boot available before it disappeared. It was the only car that ticked all the boxes of all my needs (not wants).
We need more large cars especially estates on the list and a more stable list. We used to be able to expect most cars to stay on the list for the whole three month, now we have no idea if they will be on the list for months, weeks or days even. Surely variety to meet our needs, stability and value are what the people at the top of MB are earning the big bucks for.
