To be honest they say toyota and Lexus dealers are very good have a look there but new cars are seeming to be factory orders and can take a very long time the vw polo is made in south africa not sure about the EVS. When you do order a Motability car you order at the AP price and if it goes up you still keep the price ordered at, if price goes down that is the luck of the game although some dealers if you cancel will let you have the new lower price but they do not have to.

Just to clarify, if the AP goes down, the dealer does not have to cancel the order to give you the lower price. The order is with the manufacturer and can remain in place so that you don’t loose your place in the build queue. All the dealer needs to do is cancel what is on the Motability system (which people often think is the order, but isn’t, it’s just admin) and re-enter the car again at the lower AP. In total, it takes them about 5 minutes and, as I say, does not affect your order. If the price drop is substantial and the dealer won’t do this, then switching to another dealership is advised, but you will then be starting again. Usually just the threat of doing this will change the mind of a stubborn sales person.
