BBC says 20c, outside says 18.5c, windy and feels close but got my son’s washing out to dry! He’s been throwing up since Thursday, not ate anything fri/Sat, had a little bit Sunday evening and that came back up early this morning. Rang my doctors at 8:30, automated message said hang up and we’ll ring you back, took 55mins to get a call back. Basically no appointments for 2 to 4 weeks, duty doctor available at some point today for telephone triage!, told them he’s Autistic and wouldn’t answer the phone to a number he doesn’t know and probably wouldn’t tell them what they needed to know anyway, even I have trouble getting info out of him!. So, picked him up and brought him here, will keep an eye on him, trying to get hime to eat a bit of toast, make sure he’s drinking plenty of fluids etc.

I find the best way to see a doctor these days, is to wait till they have closed and ring to see an out of hours doctor, which for us is at one of the hospitals.
