I still have my Rotel RA1312 amp and RT1024 tuner I bought in 1979, the tuner has Dolby! never had a broadcast with Dolby to try it out on though :p
I was working for Ferrograph back then and could of got a pair of their SP1’s and F307 amplifier from them cheaper but the Rotel and Kef’s simply blew them away!.
There’s a 1312 and 1025 (non-dolby version) going for sale on Ebay, about £1300 !!!!
I also still have the Kef 104AB’s I also bought then, in fact I now have 3 pairs!, I bought the extra pairs about 25 years ago to keep as “spares” after a mid range unit died. I did ring Kef and ask about a replacement but he was very surprised to learn it had lasted about 20+ years! and of course they didn’t have any spares!.
