Hopefully that’s true – always has been in the past ( this is my 7th car )
Unless you live somewhere very north and cold or do a high mileage and long distances – not sure you need the winter pack – if you are fortunate enough to have a drive and a charger on your property then you can pre condition your car on your phone app from your arm chair. – so no scraping ice etc
