From reading that thread, the original source is a Skoda dealer and they’re saying orders are above expectations so they’re withdrawing it for one quarter.
This could be absolutely nonsense or accurate, I’ve no idea but I’d hate to think someone lost out because they were waiting to then lose the car. I’d definitely ask the dealership if I was looking at one in the near future.
