I would highly recommend anyone carry a decent obd2 Bluetooth interface. I had a weird one the other day, got a new tyre got in car to drive home and dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree.
Had errors about loss of comma with the drivetrain and loads of others. I thought I could wait 4 hours for the RAC or bung my reader in, deleted the codes and everything went away and back to normal and has been fine since.
