EV driver have done so, via there own choice and morally many don’t want to drive ICE cars again.
I fully get why someone would choose an EV for cheap running costs and I don’t blame them for that but, morally doing so, is somewhat ignorant to communities where mining takes place, which has rapidly increased with the introduction of mainstream EV, turbines and other green tech.
Probably one iOf the most asinine posts i.ve seen on the forum.
Even a light fact check. There are 34 lithium mines on the planet, and maybe 3 mines have been affected, on in Brazil, one in Argentina, what complete nonsense.
The oil corollary are oil wells, how many displaced communities from oil wells and fracking? Again fact check. YGoogle does not know how many oil wells are on the planet. There are 900,000 on the US and over1500 in the UK.
Completely ignoring the elephant in the room. 34,000 deaths every year in the UK attributed to hydrocarbon respiratory and heart problems. School children with exhaust fumes asthma and respiratory ailment all from exhaust pipes.
It is telling that no one on the forum picks up on the absolute rubbish posts.
