Totally, Companies need to understand that most EV driver have done so, via there own choice and morally many don’t want to drive ICE cars again. Never mind the added cost if you charge at home on EV tariffs and A full charge cost around £5 for the average EV which can get you 180 miles at 70mph or 200/220 say at lower speeds in winter months and more maybe in summer.
So we need to be provided with an EV. Same as Ice drivers they don’t want an EV so shouldn’t be given one over a petrol. That is until we reach a point where no Petrol cars are allowed to be sold or they don’t sell them. then all will be EVs. After all is that not like for like, Which us on the scheme require so why is this the case. Ev’s cost more I would guess, so its cheaper for them to not provide one. Yet it’s there fault often there’s an issue. I have an issue with mine created by Autoglass and it’s a fight but one I have to take on.
