Small update!
Got a reply this morning from Durham Council, as my Blue Badge was due to run out in September they’ve not replaced it but renewed it early, so a new 3yr badge is on the way. Had to send copies of my passport etc. to verify identity and that was it. Unfortunately they’re saying it could be up to 3 months before it arrives!.
I do have scans of my previous badge and a spare clock so was thinking of printing and laminating an A5 size bit of paper to put in the window when taking my Autistic son shopping at the usual Tesco,Iceland, Lidl etc. on Tuesdays. Showing the front of the badge and a note saying badge stolen, replacement applied for and approved ref no xxxxx so just waitiing for it to arrive. Any thoughts?
